Exclamation blackberry 8300

Hi.. can anyone help me please? i have a blackberry 8300.
when i try to use the internet its says error 406.
what can i do?
the reason i got this phone was to use internet..
i am a prepaid user..

and also...can i open pdf files or anything like that? Because when i send files like that to my phone,it does not show anywhere on my phone. i have the latest software installed..

As a prepaid user, you probably do not have a data plan. How, exactly, are you "sending files like that to your phone?" Are you receiving the email at all? Or are you just lacking the attachment?

im sending files through the cable to my phone...but even with a contract siimcard a cannot use the internet...it just says error 406

PDF files can only be viewed as an attachment in an email, unless you have loaded PDF viewing software on the device. These are processed by the attachment handler and this can only be done within an email without proper software.

Have you verified that the "contract sim card" has a valid BlackBerry data plan on it?
