Please Login to Remove!

After taking my sim card out and putting it back in....the phone doesn't recognize it now. What happened and how do I fix it? Thanks so much.

Try a battery pull?

Is the SIM inserted in the correct slot and in the proper orientation?

Does it work in another device?

Try reinserting it again.
I had similar problems, came up as invalid sim card, popped battery out, wiggled sim card around a bit, and it was fine.

Depends on what it is.

As I asked in my previous post, does the SIM work in another device?

Try cleaning the contacts and make 100% certain that it is in the correct slot and inserted in the correct orientation.

Just make sure that you are in the SIM card slot and not the SD slot.

What other phone are you using to test the sim? Has this sim worked before in the 9000?

This is very strange. I pulled the sim out, wiped the phone and now it doesn't recognize sim. This same sim was working perfectly in this phone just yesterday! I tested the sim in a motorola AT&T phone and it worked perfectly.

Did anything happen to the device (did you drop it in water, did it fall from you hands) between yesterday and today?

Nothing, no drop, no water....it's the weirdess thing! The phone has an IT policy on it...think if I unlock it, that would work? Can someone generate my code for me please, please!!!

If the phone has an IT policy, unlocking would not change anything. If you want to remove the IT policy, refer to this link. If you want to unlock your blackberry (use different carrier sim card such as t-mobile on att), then either call your carrier and ask them for one (sometimes they will give you one) or go to horizon wireless and buy a code from there.

where did you get the 9000? Seems kinda odd that it has an IT policy on it and now the SIM doesn't work.
