SO FAR, it is working good for me as is.

I had some EDGE problems the first 30 minutes after loading, but it is real steady now. We'll see what happens.

Are you using it UNLOCKED with AT&T?

Forgive me if this is a dumb question, but I'm experimenting again with the Hybrid, having never done this before (except for yesterday).

There's an extra keyboard COD file that comes with the hybrid (supposed to fix the keypad during call issue).

Would it not be easiest to dump that keyboard file into the hybrid and install it from the get go? Or is there something I don't know here?

Well, upon closer examination, it seems that both keyboard COD files are identical. So, one less thing to worry about.

I took the VZ Navigator modules from .103 and added those instead, so one won't have to look at all that foreign language stuff.

So "my" .114 hybrid is now installed and will be tested over the next couple of days.

Thanks for sharing that info, john. It seems that the hybrid needs a bit more testing here and there to see it's potential.

So far, it's pretty good. I've only had it installed for a few hours, but no problems as of yet.

working good for me but i don't think the cell reception is any good. .114 doesn't seem to play well with my Verizon network extender. .99 seemed to play better with my extenders.

Never heard of that issue, what is it? I've been running the 114 version 1 hybrid for weeks now and am very happy with it. Version 3 was released over the weekend and I'll be installing that soon.

I have been running .114 hybrid v3 with the .90 radio file all week. Very stable no problems so far. Captures EDGE right away and holds it with no problems. Using a 9530 on ATT.

The Best Just got Better! Worked really well for me on tmobile. Running BBC .114 Hybrid V3 and it has fixed or even eliminated all of the issues in the past. Everything is so much better from my experience. Everything works! As Usual Great job BBC.

Wirelessly posted (BlackBerry 8320)

I'm having issues with the radio. Edge keeps dropping. I guess I need to install the .90 radio.

Try reinstalling it. If there are still problems, look for updates for your phone.

i decided to try out this .114 hybrid v3 OS (from here: BBCrackman .114 Hybrid V3! - BlackBerry Forums at CrackBerry.com)...

i am impressed so far, it's working without any hickups....
but the screen doesn't look as good as it did before, kind of looks like what happens to your pc screen of you change your display setting from 32-bit down to 16-bit....i can see the shades.

but it's not exaggerated....at least i haven't noticed this before...

Thats color banding. Try 3.5.1 and that is fixed

I'm running .114 v3 with zero problems. Love it
