And actually my phone is in great condition and with a good case (Zag) then carrying your phone in your pocket is not bad at all. The only thing i worry about is slamming my leg into something and cracking it, but then again i would be paranoid all day if i had it on my hip that it would fall off.
I concur! I think with a cover and screen protector, carrying the phone in your pocket is about the safest mode.

I have worked many years in the field - running, climbing, crawling, etc. I can't tell you how many clip on belt carrying systems have been destroyed after getting torn free from my belt by a stationary object. Since I've gone to pocket mode my phones look better, last longer, and I have yet to lose or damage one.

HA! that was a guy that had keys in his pocket and had the original factory screen protector on!!! So that hardly qualifies.

I carry my phone in my pocket with nothing else in there and a screen protector that will soon be replaced by a Zagg. I think that hardly qualifies as being an irresponsible phone owner but if you think different i would love to hear your argument!?

That's right, and when you press or force your body up against something with your perfectly protected phone in your pocket, and your screen shows signs of a pressure crack or damage, come back and cry when Verizon won't replace it

I don't understand, why are you being such a douche? All you have been doing is belittling people.

If I have the insurance on the phone, it will get replaced if it cracks

The verizon insurance plan is amazing. its like 5 dollars a month and they cover everything under the sun (including stolen phone) so if i do crack my phone in my pocket i am safe and i think a lot of people that come to this forum are safe b/c they also have the protection plan.

i actually opened the phone and didnt think there was a screen protector i thought there was big scratches up and down the screen bc im really clumsy with phones.. when i went to verizon for the screen protector he peeled off the factory one.. it was such a relief.. its scratch free this guy probably went to a off market type of stand and the guy was to stupid to realize he already had a screen protector on it and just put another one on top

You could more easily crush the phone in a blet clip holster, by pressing up against something, because the phone sticks off of your hip by an inch or two. Or the holster could easily get caught on something and send your phone flying. Pocket seems like the safer place of the two to me.

Thats right, we're jerks because people don't take care of their equipment and we won't fall at there feet when something goes wrong.

Imagine this.......two separate customers today, both with multi color looking blotches on their screens......

"Do you carry your phone in your pocket"

"Yes" in both cases............

Dude, just shut up, you're talking out of your ass. If you could pull your head out of your pompous ass and read, you'd see that my phone is fine, and is still scratch free. I feel sorry for your customers. If you talked to me in person like you are talking on here, I'd knock your damn teeth in
