Default Newbie BB User needs pro advice

Please Login to Remove!

Ok guys after reading threads here for a few days I realize two things: One is I know very little and the second is some of you guys know way too much!
My question is what is the best and cheapest way for a small business without an Exchange Servers to get emails on thier BB's? I originally was using my new BB 7280 with AT&T via the BWS. My company is very interested in the wireless syncing of emails, calendars and task list and not having to come back to the desktop at the office and deleting emails that we had already read on the BB during the day. We started looking at the Good technology and I am now set up with a trial exchange email account through mailstreet.com, I have my pop3 account provider forward all emails to my mailstreet.com account and in turn had mailstreet set it up so any emails I send appear to be coming from my original pop3 account so I could appear to have the same email address. I am using the desktop director to forward my emails to my BB now as well. I am sorry to be so lengthy but before we invest in the Good Technology I thought some of you seasoned vets in here could give some advice on the best way to accomplish what we are trying to do as we are spending $60 month for At&T unlimited services and another $12 month for the mailstreet account just for the ability to go the Good route.

Thanks

How many people do you have that are in need of this?

You can setup your pop email server on the webclient - I do not know how well that will work for you (spoofing your reply from / send from address). You may want to check this thread:
http://pdastreet.com/forums/showthre...threadid=35823
it will give you infomation on 3rd party MDS service.

We really only have 5-6 people in need of this. That is why going to an exchange server is really pricy, just to get the wireless syncing. The problem with the Mailstreet so far is little quirks that no one can figure out. Likle now when I reply form my BB I get an error message saying "Mailbox couldn't find original message, if forwarding or replying please resend the message."

I just want to make sure there is not an easier way of getting our emails as well as wirelesly syncing everything.

Thanks for the help.
