Default Disposition for Unlisted appliations to Disallowed

Please Login to Remove!

i currently have BES 5.0.3 MR7 and have not Disabled 3rd party downloads via IT policy, but have set Disposition for Unlisted applications to Disallowed. However some users can still browse to the App World (not via the icon as it gets deleted) or other manufacturer sites via their BB browser and download any app they want.

should this be possible?

Play with these in security policy:
Application Installation Methods
Disallow App World
Disallow Browser
Disallow Media Card
Disallow USB

These are the list of different ways to have an app installed. So if you allow third party app download policy you can further control it by stating you can install it from the sd card or certain web link (using browser while preserving browsing abilities). In any case I don't think even without this that you should be able to download and install when disposition for unlisted apps are set to disallowed. That being said any RIM signed app (bb bridge, bbm, etc ) will still be install-able as they are not considered third party.
