Default ***RIGHT ANGLE*** GREAT MINI to Micro USB Adapter

Please Login to Remove!

Motorola OEM Micro-USB Right Angle Charger Adapter Cable For Blackberry - BlackBerry Curve 8900 - Fommy.com

so..wish I would have seen these before I just bought my adapters because this allows you to actually be able to hold onto the phone while charging.

I should win a prize for this discovery...

*edit*
okay so this is looking just like a right angle adapter for micro... not a mini to micro...still awesome though

I was just going to say that. Nonetheless, thanks for the post. The right angle adapter is still useful..

found this too from amazon but the angle is going the wrong direction so you'd have the cord going up.

what a hassle; at least micro-usb is now the standard and we'll see more cable configurations released. soon and cheap i hope.

personally..i think id like the cord going up...i usually sit my phone in the cup holder, and if the cord is going down it'll hit the bottom and make the phone sit funny..(imagining it anyways)

would you have a link handy for that one?

Retractable Micro-USB Car Charger For Blackberry - BlackBerry Curve 8900 - Chargers - Fommy.com

i did come across that - but I don't know if im too thrilled about a offbrand charger..or that thin of retractable cord. anyone ever use a simular one?

just search amazon for "micro usb angle."

i have used an off brand retractable car charger with a thin cord for my pearl and it worked fine. still like new after about a year of use and i'll continue using it with my micro usb adapter.

I think most Razrs came with the right angle--except that they're only for miniUSB.

I just bought a bunch of standard adapters too. I didn't see this one. The right angle one would be good for typing on it while charging but difficult for putting in a desktop stand or pod. I've gotten used the the cable there when typing now and it doesn't bother me that much anymore.

Not a right angle, but it is mini to micro (so now I can use my car charger, and my other 5 wall chargers scattered around the house and country!)

Thanks

It appears as if it goes down. If no one else confirms by tomorrow - I will as it's waiting at my "weekend" home.

Ugh, was hoping it went up, since like another poster I like to put the device in the cup-holder. Please let me know when you see the one you've bought. Thanks.

I'm hoping for the same thing... my quick fix will be to just turn it upside down...

I also ordered this...
Retractable Micro-USB Car Charger For Blackberry - BlackBerry Curve 8900 - Chargers - Fommy.com

from the pic it def. looks like it goes up - but even if it went down, the cord is so small it probably won't make a difference. Hopefully it works out great.

Wish I'd seen that angled charger sooner! On closer examination of the pictures, I think you're correct - the charger cord goes up, the adapter goes down. Please post what you find out. Thanks.

okay - so the right angle usb adapter is pretty awesome. can hold onto the phone almost as if there is nothing there(very easy to get used to)

the retractable right angle car charger on the other hand...is infact not a right angle and is garbage to me now as I already have an adapter that's straight for my car charger.

not happy with fommy.com.... They still haven't shipped my BB case. First Back ordered phone...now case.... come on RIM!
