Post Application Permission

Please Login to Remove!

Hi all,

I have used this code to set application Permission for my app.

ApplicationPermissions ap=new ApplicationPermissions();
ap.addPermission(ApplicationPermissions.PERMISSION _BROWSER_FILTER);
ApplicationPermissionsManager apm=ApplicationPermissionsManager.getInstance();
apm.invokePermissionsRequest(ap);

but to set the permission it asks the user to save it or not.But what if user does not save the new setting?

can we avoid the prompt which ask the user to set permission.

Also can we set permissions for other applications.

thanks simon,

one thing more, can we set permission for two things(let's say Browser Filter and Event Injector) in single prompt.Or every permission will prompt for itself.

Also note that there are certain versions of 4.2.x that do not save the permissions as approved by the user (although the user selects "save" and everything seems to be OK). Issue acknowledged by RIM but not likely to be addressed on existing devices since the issue appears to have been fixed at a later release level.
