I just got an 8900.. I had an 8310 with default att theme. It was the one with the cloud background, and all the icons were on the main screen. Is it possible to somehow make that theme work with the 8900?
I'm not loving this black theme and cheesy iconset. Most all the themes available for download have this horrible look as well. I prefer the clean colorful icons from the 8310. I also don't like how it just has a few icons at the bottom on the main screen. I don't need "desktop" space, rather just see all my icons.
The themes you are referring to are made for the 8310 which I assume ran on a 4.5 OS.
You cannot install themes not designed for your device.
You can look in the media center forum for themes or consider making you own.

Are you aware of any themes that just use a full screen of icons as the default? Is there a type name for this style theme like today style or zen style?
I have, as well as several other sites that come up on google searches.. I've settled on vizion blue for now, but I really want an icon theme and can't seem to find many :(
