I just installed a new BES v4.1.3 on the same subnet as our Exchange 2007 Server. I had some trouble with the installation but made sure that MAPI and CDS were installed correctly and BESAdmin has the correct permissions. I am able to run IMSTest successfully for the user. But the 8830 does not go thru the EA, I see the ETP message in the user Mailbox but the EA fails. I get an warning in the eventviewer

Do you see any "User Not Started" messages in the application log? What messages do you see when you remove and add the user back in in the Event Viewer? Is this a strictly 2007 Environment? Are the MAPI and CDO files 6.5.7888?

Not familiar with your error, but when we installed BES SP3/HF1 in order to test Exchange 2007, we had to run the follow PowerShell scripts on the Exchange server:

1. add-exchangeadministrator “BESAdmin” –role ViewOnlyAdmin (then press enter)

2. get-mailboxserver (Exchange Server Name) | add-adpermission –user “BESAdmin” –accessrights GenericRead –extendedrights Send-As, Receive-As, ms-Exch-Store-Admin (then press enter)
