Question Tripple DES to AES

Please Login to Remove!

Hi All,

I might need to change the encryption level on BES from 3DES to AES, are there any pitfalls that I should be aware from if I do this? I've read that I will need to reconnect the RIM devices after the change is made, how do I do this?

Thanks in advance!

Not necessary if you first change it to 3DES and AES.
Take a look at KB12821

Default This did not go as well as the KB says it should

>>Take a look at KB12821

After a normal reboot, about a 100 devices lost connectivity. They had to be 'wireless enterprise activated' again. Another reboot a few days later and new units were offline. This was not pleasant.

As sometimes is said, YMMV
I have done the exact steps in the KB which was transparent to my user community.
