Default Organizing Contacts

Please Login to Remove!

my BB is synced with outlook on my desktop. Outlook pushes the contacts out to the blackberry, so I have some 2500 work contacts along with another 100+ personal contacts.

I can't hardly find my personal contacts because of all the work ones. Is there a way to organize my address book, where I would continue to have all 2500 work contacts on my phone, but not have them fully populated?

I would like to only see the personal contacts when I look at my contacts list, but have easy access to the rest for business purposes. I have found no mention of how to do this anywhere.

Within the calendar, go to options and look for filter. You can work through there.

Yes, exactly. You may want to use groups and filter the contacts in groups. Gonna make it a lot easier to sort like that

Assign categories to your contacts (IIRC it's easier to do this in bulk via Outlook than on the BB). Once you've done that you can filter your contacts by category on the BB.
