I tried yak-on a while ago, and it expired on me, now I would like to try it again, and compare it to verichat, but when I try to install it, it says it has expired. Anyone know of a way I can run a trial again?

email them and ask for a trial code, they are pretty quick to respond. I've always received great CS from them.

/agree ... You are best to go thru them. Just let them know you would like to evaluate it again before purchasing.

Not sure your needs, but there are also free options like RambleIM or GoogleTalk with add-ons. Just so a search for more info.

With free options also come some issues, problems or restrictions. I have also believed that it is alot easier to to pay a fee for something if it meets all your needs without the headaches.

I will say yak-on is a good program but I've stuck with google talk. Yak-on along with IM+, Verichat and others eats up my battery quick. GT doesnt, I can keep logged on/chat as much as I need/want and I might have 1 bar gone at the end of the day.
