Question I need to create a folder...

Now that you have helped me free up some memory, how do I create some folders in my messages to better organize them.

Any suggestions?

Unless you are on BES you can't create folders on the blackberry except for the delete JC folder.

I removed a bunch of the java files and was doing fine. Now my device will NOT turn on. I placed the removed files back and uses the app loader with no success. Do I need to reinstall the whole OS again?

akosnitzky, yes, load the OS fresh at this point. That is assumed you are doing so in the first post of this thread.

D_town, there is no editing of a java'xxx' stuff described in the process... you are removing the unneeded *.cod files as described in Step 5 of the process.

The theme cod files appear as
net_rim_theme_100...
net_rim_theme_102a... etc.

Yes. I looked at the first post. I assume I override the os in my system. Do not delete I went with the OS of my carrier which is 4.2. Although I was tempted to grab a 4.3 package.

I backed up my device, so I do a restore after? or kiss my third party apps good bye?

There's not much benefit in removing much else from the OS. The potential gain is not worth the potential risk. The other .cod's left are relatively small and even if they can be removed you won't gain much. Some seemingly unrelated .cod's are turn out to be required for things. For instance in OS 4.5, if you don't install Documents to Go, JiveTalk won't work and neither will a few other apps. So, stick relatively close to what I've suggested at the top. I don't remove anything else from my device, so it will work fine for everyone in most cases. It's not a contest to see who can get the most. It's just to remove things that you don't use that take up lots of space.

Relax. Black and white just means no theme installed. Find the swiss army knife icon and click on it and go to themes. Find another theme and activate it.

What themes did you remove? I recommend leaving all the dimension themes. Are those still there? The reason it came up black and white is that you removed the theme that was currently in use. You just need to find another one. Go back to the java folder and put back all the dimension themes. Then run apploader again all the way through.

Did you remove any modules that I didn't recommend removing?

Is the BB operational right now?

Yes, you can put everything back and run apploader again and hopefully all will be back as it was. However, if that doesn't work, hopefully you made backups as I recommended in the first post for just such an occasion.
