Launching with 4.7.1, so no hint on os5 timing from that, but you have to assume with a large amount of devices its not going to be out till late this year.

I did manage to find a vage reference as to which OS it was releasing, kinda disappointed it wasnt going to be 5.

It's something they have done in the past as well (devices that launched just before 4.0) and its actually pretty sensible since you wouldn't want to delay one product due to delays in the other, its not like the tour won't also get an upgrade to 5.0 when its ready.

I know it will, just with the beta releases, the fact we know its coming, you would think they may have had it along far enough to release with a new device.
especailly if only another 3-4 months before 5 is released.

Only 3-4 months doesn't sound like much when you say it like that, but when you stop and look at it a bit more closely, you have probably dismissed the final 1/3 of the development cycle and anyone in the software industry could tell you that part tends to be quite busy.

guys i've heard the os 5.0 browser is much better,almost like iphone's safari,what you think?is this true??
also when the os 5.0 is officially out?
