I'm new here.
I just got my new Blackberry 8820.
I have removed the sim card and i need to change it with a Vaild Pay As You Go Card.
I just need some reccomendations on which site/shop to go to, to buy the sim card.
Remember ..i need pay as you go.
I was thinking T-Mobile.

TMO Prepaid does not have a data option other than very limited free sites. Most definitely no BB plan on TMO prepaid.

Welcome to BBF.

If you plan on using your BB for its email and other network dependent features, you will need to subscribe to a blackberry data service, which is not available with a pre-paid account. Otherwise, a Pre-paid SIM card will enable you to make phone calls, txt/pic message and browse internet using wi-fi and compatible browser.

The only PAYG (pre pay) network that offeres BIS data add on on the PAYG account is Orange UK

You can't get what you want on TMO Prepaid.

Also, if your Blackberry is carrier locked (like to AT&T) you will only be able to use a Pay-As-You-Go SIM card from AT&T. If you got it from a carrier, it's pretty much 100% guaranteed to be locked to that carrier.

Just reading your post, but I'm heading off to LA in April. 2 days on th road with an unlocked BB Bold, and I thought of heading into a Best Buy and getting a TMO Sim.
But, I'm still going to need BB maps and email capability, so data is a must.
Am I better off just getting a pay as you go? Is there any other way of doing it you know about?
