I see that there are 3rd party apps that will do this, but is there a way to natively add a shortcut/launcher icon to dial voicemail (or any number for that matter) on the Storm?

Quick Launch should do it. That and many other shortcuts.

Thank you! Quick Launch and One Touch Voicemail were the 3rd party Apps I saw that would do this.

Just wanted to make sure I wasn't missing a way that already existed on the Storm.

I read your first post too quickly and missed that you asked about natively, so to answer that question, not that I know of. Still, Quick Launch is well worth the price.
