Default Upgrading from BES Express to Licensed BES Server

Please Login to Remove!

We purchased a BES server license last week because we were going to exceed our 15 BB clients that BES Express allows.

I would think we would have to replace the SRP Authentication Key with one for the new server licensel, but one was not provided. Just a server CAL.

Does anyone know if I need to enter this new CAL somewhere to make sure that we are running on the new purchased license and can then activate more than 15 devices.

We are sitting at 14 registered users right now, so I have no way of knowing is things will just "crap out" once we hit #16. The BES Manager did take the 10 user CAL I entered so maybe it "just works".

All you need to do is enter the new cal in the licensing box in BB Manger.

We did something like that a few weeks ago. It worked like a charm.

Did you purchased a BES server license, or an upgrade license? For the BES Express there is an upgrade license it is cheaper then the Full BES license.
