Trying to figure out what the default password is, any help will be greatly appreciated I am currently on my 10th try.


Have tried:
PASSWORD
PASSWORD KEEPER
BLACKBERRY
0000

We don't know your password. The default password is the one to which you set it initially.

There is no way or hack around it. Ten tries and your (or whoever it might belong to) BB will be wiped of all personal data, messages, settings, calendar, etc.

If this sounds sarcastic, it was intended as such, and I apologize up front.

But that's the facts.

Thanks. We try to stay hopeful here. To put it bluntly, there is no default password for the BlackBerry. Anytime a password prompt is displayed, some human set that password. If you didn't, someone did. They don't get on the device by themselves.

mmmm ok ill figure it out do you know if it wipes out everything including pics and adress book etc.

Oh, and if this is ONLY the Password Keeper password, entering the wrong pw will only wipe the Password Keeper, not the rest of the device. No pics or address book will be deleted for entering the Password Keeper info wrong.

Sorry if my post above mislead you. But same info applies... there is no default password, it is whatever you set it too.

IF you are on a SureType keyboard (8100) make certain you are entering any numerals in the password correctly with the Alt key pressed.
