Hi, my mom just got a BB Torch. She is loving it so far, but is experiencing one weird issue. She has a bunch of photos on an SD card which was put into her Torch. It's reading the photos fine; however, the Torch is showing the photos in random order (as opposed to the way they were downloaded to her SD card). I checked her SD card and the photos are saved there in the correct order. It seems like the Torch is either not reading the photos in the right order or else it's shuffling them. What's the solution? Thanks so much for your help!

Your BlackBerry® device sorts pictures in descending order by date. You cannot change this sort order.

oh darn. I had this exact same question. I thought you would be able to change the sort order (i.e. alphabetic). I could have sworn that is how it was sorted on the BOLD. I could be wrong but I do think that the filenames were sorted in alphabetic order.

In the past, there was always an option to choose the sort method, either by name or by date/time.

Kinda silly for this to be left out, eh?

yeah, it's too bad that bb Torch only sort by Newest to Oldest or Oldest to Newest

I read somewhere else that it's supposed to be fixed in an upcoming release. Don't really know how reliable that post was, so take it for what it's worth (it's on the internet so it must be true? LOL)
