Thumbs up 8800 Better Build Quality Than Most Blackberries

Please Login to Remove!

Hi guys.....
I have been using a 8800 for about a year now.
I recently purchased a 8520 and found it far to light and the keypad to small and hence after 2 days I sold it on.
I have just purchased a 8310 and although I prefer it to the 8520 its still not upto the build quality of the 8800.
To me the 8800 is perfect in size and weight. Not to heavy but you certainly know its in your pocket.
I recon the sim card will be coming out of the 8310 and going back in the 8800 by the end of the weekend
Cheers,
Wayne.

ahhh, depends on your perspective, and how long you've been around.... Talk to the people who remember the earlier blackberrys! I don't go back that far, but for me the 8700g is my favorite. I wish I could have all the functions of the 8820, but with more memory, and in the body of the 8700. What a solid device, and the best keyboard for me.

The 957 was, and is, indestructible. Can't kill them. Run them over in a truck.

And the 8700 was my favorite on the "newer" devices....

Hated the 8800

I too use the 8800 and love the feel of the phone in my hand....I've seen the 8900, and feel the keypad is smaller...however, to each his own..but I wouldn't change it for the world...not for now atleast... ;)

I just switched from the 8800 to 9700, I'm loving it, I'd never go back. I dont have any doubts about this devices quality, though i've read of others having issues, mine seems great.

So would we agree that this is a good deal?
8800UB RIM BlackBerry 8800 Unlocked Smartphone with QWERTY Keyboard, GSM Technology, Black

I just came here to look for opinions on the 8800. I have an 8320 right now and the smallness of the keys is killing me.
