One of my favorite BlackBerry apps. Especially for use at work when my co-workers won't stop talking

problem with pandora
I installed Pandora app and everytime I click on Pandora icon it start to test different connections ..like wifi, and after like 10 second I got message "Could not connect to pandora. Please ensure you have sufficient network coverage and try again"
What I have/did:
provider T-mobile
my OS v4.5.0.124
I dont have internet plan but I do Wi-Fi.
1) I set up Blackberry Wi-Fi with my router
2) I set up T-mobile TCP for: wap.voicestream.com
3) I set permissions for pandora to Allow
3) I can go to any sites using miniOpera browser
4) I can listen to radio using "m.moodio.fm" without any problems
so why I can't listen Pandora radio???

I had problems previously, that were corrected by launching the app, holding 'alt' and pressing the 'space' key 4 times (while still holding 'alt'). This brings up the diag page. Click 'Advanced' and then click 'Reset Pandora'. Exit the diag window, and shutdown Pandora. Battery pull, and try Pandora again.

I just tried it on my 8900 and holding the alt while hitting the space key four times, brings up the screen that Shaun mentioned.
Have you tried deleting and reinstalling the program? I don't think that will make any difference, but maybe worth a try?
Also, I think Pandora, until this latest release, couldn't use wifi at all. Maybe it still needs to check in the first time over a normal BB data plan?
Good luck to you,

I posted the same question on crakberry forum and here is the answer:

MarcPandora:
Normally, you can use Pandora fine over Wi-Fi even when your mobile connection is turned off or not available. However, just today we discovered a flaw that prevents the initial setup of Pandora over "Wi-Fi only". So basically you do need a mobile connection (and data plan) to run Pandora on the BlackBerry for the first time. However, after that it's possible to run it over Wi-Fi only, even after Pandora is shut down and restarted. This will be fixed in our next point release. We have receive a few other reports of this, so you aren't the only one who uses a BlackBerry without a data plan.
