Dear Members,

I recieved the following Screenshot from a customer of ours.
Can any one help me out with this, their BES Server crashes once every 2 days!

And he tells me they recieve to much load, and there is supose to be an error in the log

Might be a notes issue, Have you done the maintenance on it?

Hello Luuk and welcome. The error about bbmgr32.exe crashing refers to the BlackBerry Manager application which is apparently being run on the server. I doubt this error is related to the server crashing, but if you wanted to test, just ensure that the BlackBerry Manager application is always run from a remote workstation and not on the BES server itself.

@Knottyrope, i doubt i can do maintenance on it, because we only installed the BES for them i think their IT manager needs to do the maintenance on it

@Mahoward, we run the blackberry manager on our server as well and we never have any issues concerning this in the log file!

But how can you run the Blackberry manager from a remote desktop ?
or are you talking about the desktop manager?

He means for yout to install BlackBerry Manager on a workstation and point it to the database and see if it crashes.

How many users are on the BES? Where is the DB? MSDE or SQL? What kind of specs does the BES have hardware wise?
