Please help me with facebook on my 9900
Please Login to Remove!
I am getting notifications to my homescreen, But they are taking forever to come through, So i try opening the app, But the icons in the top right corner do not update to tell me i have a notification, So how do i check them? Isnt the notification meant to appear on the app with a red star? It just doesnt update on the app its self! I have to manually go to notifications and keep refreshing them!
Is that how the app worls on bb? On all my other mobiles the icons update when you launch the app!

Re: Please help me with facebook on my 9900
I dont want instant notifications lol, Ok i will try and make myself more clear.
The notifications come through to the homescreen on the phone, This can take upto 1 hour, I like to load up the facebook app and normally the world icon in the top right corner will display a red star to notifiy me of a new notification, The app isnt doing this, Instead i have to navigate to notifications and manually refresh every time!
On all other phones it updates as soon as you launch the app!

Sorry, Yes on other phones, I assumed that the app would work in a simalar way, It seems strange that the status icons wouldnt update, Otherwise why did they impliment them?

Re: Please help me with facebook on my 9900
I don't use FaceBook or any other social media as it kills the battery.
I suggest you check on the BlackBerry.com forums as this is forum isn't associated with RIM (or anyone who worked on the FaceBook application) and no one seems to have noticed the same thing.
