Default will gps work on t-mobile with my at&t curve 8310?

i'm thinking of going over to tmobile cuz their data plan is cheaper...does any know if my curve 8310 gps will work once i go over tmobile network? what about the google triangulation?

GPS is carrier independent. Makes no difference. As long as you have a BB data plan, you can access BB Maps and GoogleMaps just as you did on ATT.

The real issue is how good is the T-Mo coverage where you will use the device - where you live, work, travel and play? Just because the plans are cheaper, doesn't mean the service is the same or better. It is a given that ATT's coverage is much better than that of T-Mo . T-Mo's plan are cheaper because they are trying to attract more customers (IMHO).

And to answer the question, yes, GPS works fine on the 8310 using T-mobile.
