Please Login to Remove!

Woke up this morning to a black screen and a red light. Tried to reload the OS and it will start to go through using app loader but when it goes to tell it to restart it doesnt connect again. Anyone know if theres a program that can bring it back or something?

If your 9930 is truly bricked, then by definition it is dead and isn't going to be brought back to life. The 9900s and 9930s seem to be doing this rather a lot.

See the links at Bold 9900 / 9930 bricked? Check these threads .... - BlackBerry Forums at CrackBerry.com for ideas on the possibility that it isn't bricked. Taking the battery out and then putting it back when reconnecting to jvm seems like the thing to try first.

Good luck.

He already posted the same thing there. It is sometimes possible to wake up the device at the point where his is getting stuck. Screwing around with the battery - or simple rebooting while connecting to JVM sometimes wakes it up. I have not been successful in doing that with a 9800 I have here, but I have heard of a few people who have. I have seen where they pull the battery or reboot the device 20-30 times during the reconnect sequence and then all of a sudden the device comes back to life.

Not good for the latest device from RIM. OS issue or hardware? any thoughts.

Which OS did you have on your 9930, any ideas?
In the past there were some BB's made in Mexico, some in Netherlands or some place, and the ones in Mexico had problems while the others ran better.. Did anyone review this to see if there is more than one factory?
