Had DTM 5.0.1 & upgraded to 6.0. Upgrade left 5.0.1 in place & now neither ver. works. Cannot Sync. Tried all the KB "Resolutions" and none work. Tried uninstalling 6.0 but 5.0.1 still doesn't sync. Just get "unknow error reported." Uninstalling 5.0.1 gets Error 1316.

Thanks Scr_ooge -- I went through the posts & tried most of them. Had high hopes for the 16 steps that Paulsonr posted . Still no joy. Vista will not let me uninstall DM 5.0.1- get "Error 1316. A network error occurred while attempting to read from the file C:\ Windows\Installer\BlackBerry Desktop Software.msi" This message started appearing -& continues- since I installed DM 6 and uninstalled it.

Any other suggestions?

It is considered to be bad manners to hijack another posters thread.

There is no OS 6 for the 9500 series and probably will not be as it doesn't have the horsepower and memory to run it.

Moved to the proper section. This is not an OS 6 issue.

Can you do a RESTORE to a previous restore point, prior to the DM 6 install.?
