Hello all

I bought a 9700 (BEST phone i've ever had) last week, and last night, i was out on the booze, ended up cracking my screen, i had it as always in it's leather pouch, in my back pocket, sat down for like 5 seconds, i got a text, checked my phone, and a big crack was on it, can't see anything, it's all white, i felt like crying! anyway, that made me want to get more drunk to forget about it, was a good night barring the phone, so i'm hungover today!

Anyway, does anyone know a cheap place in the UK to buy a replacement? i've checked ebay they are about £60 onwards, £70 for a genuine OEM one, i see a few for £60 but the sellers said they can't be sure if they are genuine, so what's the difference in the two? would the screen quality be crap? brightness etc? compared to a OEM one?

I've took it apart and the screen version is 002/111

Only other way is somewhere like cnn.cn who ship from china.

Thanks for the reply, i saw that item, i know it's grade B, i'm bit weary because i don't want a scratched one! you can't be to sure with ebay these days!... i've emailed the seller though.

I'll probably end up buying one of those if he replies and it's in good nick, thanks mate!

Did you get one? Was it easy to install? My screen also broke (I have no idea when or how).
