Default New to Blackberry. Help!!!

Please Login to Remove!

Hello, so my girlfriend recently bought me a Blackberry for my birthday. Problem is, I don't a thing about it. All I did was buy an unlocked blackberry and put my sim card in it. I've got all the settings down and how to use its basic functions, but I can't get the wifi to work. It says "Provisioning Wi-fi profiles. Enter this pin into your wireless router"
So how exactly do I work this? I don't have a BB plan or anything. Just whatever I had before with just a Blackberry.
Oh, I have the 8520 BTW.

You need to enter the PIN it gives you, into the wireless router settings page.

You really need a BB data plan to get the most out of the device.

What do I need a Data Plan for? - BlackBerryFAQ

Read the user guide that came with the device, probably on the CD or download from RIM.

Read through our FAQ and use the SEARCH feature if you have questions.

How do I go into the router settings page? Do I need to put in the IP address on the browser or is there another way to access it?

Yes, via a browser, input the IP address required to access the settings. It can be 192.168.2.1, or 10.0.0.1 for example.

Finding the manual for your router online may be worth a try.

It is considered bad manners to hijack another's thread, especially when your post has nothing to do with the question posted originally.

Skype only work on Verizon phones at the present time.
