When I get a new text on my BB Bold 9780 I click it in the notification bar on the home screen but it doesn't go to the last recieved text it jumps near enough to the top and it takes a good few minutes to scroll to the bottom.

Has anybody else experienced this? Or know how to fix it?

It's normal. Use the shortcuts to move around the message. It also sound like you dont delete text messages if it takes a few minutes to get to the bottom of a text.

Remember , memory is limited and low memory will slow or even stall the phone.


Message shortcuts
Depending on the typing input language that you are using, some shortcuts might not be available.
In a message
xxx8226; To reply to a message, press R.
xxx8226; To reply to all in an email message or a PIN message, press L.
xxx8226; To forward a message, press F.
xxx8226; To file a highlighted email message, press I.
xxx8226; To view the email address of a contact, highlight the contact in the To or From field. Press Q. To view the display name, press Q again.

In a message list
xxx8226; To open a highlighted message, press the Enter key.
