Default Closing Password Keeper

Please Login to Remove!

I'm wondering if this is typical behavior. Let me explain. I took my Password Keeper from my old phone and copied it to my new phone. I can't remember if my old phone did this or not. Everytime I close Password Keeper on my new phone I get the clock and the msg "Exiting Application". It's only for a few seconds, but none of my other applications do this. Is this typical behavior for Password Keeper. I suspect it is, but just checking. I have between 100 and 200 passwords.

Agree. Password keeper is, well, a password safe. Notice if you leave the screen and come back, you have to log in, every time. If you press cancel instead of entering a password, it closes. If you press the back key, as you've observed, it closes. I can't remember it being any different.

Hmm... to be clear. It's not the actual closing of the program I'm questioning. It's the slight delay. Does everybody else have the delay when closing? Do you get the clock icon for a few seconds?

Ok..... I see a little window, black background, "exiting application" in white font, and the timer over that. Usually takes a second or two to exit.

I'm 9700/5.0.0.714 with content protection enabled.

Thanks aiharkness. I always suspected this was normal behavior. Just needed confirmation. Thanks again.

you really would not want it to stay open just in case you lost your phone or someone used it and saw your passwords.

Look in device options, options > password.

If it password is locked on enabled, then you have an IT policy, which you will need to remove (if it is your personal device). See blackberryfaq.com.
