Default Keeps dumping the o/s

Please Login to Remove!

I've just received my THIRD BB 8900 from T-Mobile. The other two kept dumping the operating system. I would receive a message to update an app, (the last one was pandora), downloaded it & after it installed, it said a reboot was necessary to complete the install. It would start to reboot, then I would get the white screen of death, complete with the circle with the slash through it & the message to "Reload Software". I'd call T-Mobile & they would talk me through the re-install process & then inform me that the phone shouldn't do that. Anybody else having this problem?

no. i have never, ever, ever, had a phone give me reloading problems when the phone could boot to any white screen with a logo.

if the phone turns the screen on, sets its color to white and then displays a logo on screen, then the phone is defiantly working... the boot loader is, at any rate.

loader.exe /nojvm should get you up and running

I just received my third 8900 from T-Mobile & went through the process of re-installing all of my apps again. Let's see how long this one lasts. I'm losing faith in Blackberry, I've always had good luck with previous models, but the 8900 has me wondering.

Could it be the apps that is causing the problem and not the BB? Maybe they are not fully 8900 compatible.

And maybe it would be a good idea not to do any updates for awhile?

I had some random reboot problems and still get one once i a great while. No OS dumps.
I dumped all the apps and just use it like it was intended, no issues now.
