I agree, Slingbox is the way to go. In case your not sure what a Slingbox is, basicly it,s just a box you connect between your TV and cable box, Sat. box, Tivo etc. The Slingbox is also connected to your home network thru your router. Anything that you can watch on your TV you can then watch and control on any computer or smartphone. I use a Slingbox with my 8900 and on my Girlfriends 8120 on T-Mobile. Works great on wifi and fairly well on EDGE. Your 3G should work seemless if there's software for your phone. Slingmedia.com has the downloads for your phone and the Slingbox you can pick up at any electronics store.

i have dishnetwork, thinking of getting a slingbox solo, question...

the dishnetwork box goes into sleep mode after some period of time, can the sling still acess live tv via a 8900 with the dish box in sleep mode?

also

dish favorites come prepacked...all channels, all subs, all hd and then u can make your own, question is do you have to leave it on all sub to get access to channels that may not be on a customized channel list that you may create?

orb would be perfect for you. anything on your computer can be viewed on your phone with orb. you dont need to download anything onto your phone. its just a login website you point your browser to and it works perfect

Assuming your computer is on all the time. Anyone have a link to orb? Thinking of setting it up but I'm behind a nat type 3 router which makes life connecting a pita....

orb is nice, BUT if your computer OR blackberry go into sleep mode the stream stops. when i put my bberry in the holster the stream stops and if your computer hibernates or sleeps its a no go as well. good free technology otherwise
