I have my 8100 set up with my company's BES and use MS Outlook 2003 as our contact management software. Here's my situation.
I have a rule set to send a copy of all incoming and outgoing emails to a personal folder instead of maxing our my mailbox on my companies network.
My problem is when I send an email from my 'Berry it doesn't send a copy to the personal folder that I have titled 'outgoing'. I'm thinking it should do the same thing as when I create an email from the computer. The rule I have set sends a copy to the 'outgoing' folder.
Has anyone had a similar experience and if so, did you find a way to fix this problem? Don't hesitate to ask any questions if I haven't been very clear.
I would get rid of the rules and configure your Auto- Archive settings to archive every day all messages that are older than 1 day.
You can select a PST to be the default archive folder.
This has worked much better for me, and if you set up folders as sub folders of your inbox, you can file remotely and those messages will move off the server based on your Auto-Archive settings.
Thank you jtdarden. I found this: http://office.microsoft.com/training...RC010265551033 through the Outlook help feature. When I get my honey-do list complete today I'll take a look at this. Sounds like it may solve my problem.
Anyone know what this says? Received an email alert stating 080524jk just replied. This doesn't appear on the thread, but appeared on my email alert...
