Just got a Freedom and works great with 7100v won't need this Shasta thing after all - seems like ThinkOutside are just getting on the bandwagon and missed the big one lol
I just loaded the the new KeyPro v2.0 from MMG. Works much better than the old version. I have a 7100t and the old version number keys didn't work so well with the phone application but now its perfect. I can open the phone app from home screen by simply typing in the phone number to call. They also added an option to Start/Stop the driver so now I can just turn off the keyboard and use my bluetooth head set. The old driver didn't let me use the head set when the driver was running in the background. The new version also supports BlackBerry mode on 7100 where holding down a key inserts upper case just like on the BlackBerry keypad. I don't use this much but still a nice feature to have I guess. If you don't like this feature just switch it to standard mode and it works like a PC keyboard where holding a key down insert repeating characters. The best part is that v2.0 works with old keys so no need to purchase a new key. If you don't have MMG keypro you can still test drive it. they offering free trials. check it out.
I have a 7250, using PocketMac to sync to a G4 iMac (1 GB RAM) on OS X 10.4.4. I've been reading the messages in this thread, and searched this and other Web sites. What is not clear to me at all is whether a Bluetooth-capable keyboard will work on the 7250. Some catalog entries suggest you must use a certain driver, others suggest using a driver in conjunction with the PC Desktop software. Any help here? TIA.
