BES 5.0 MR3
Exchange 2003
Server 2003 E

All BES components are on one box

brk-besuseradminx5.0.0.54_MR2 install I'm using...


1. When installing it asks for DNS name of the administration service? I used "host name of my bb.domain name: port number" is this right?

2. I made an admin account using the webconsole and named it BASSYS


I try a command and get

Thanks kapasaca, but I have the service installed I want to install the BESUSERADMINCLIENT that comes in the resource kit.

Hi,

After installing BES USer Admin Tool (BESUserAdminService and BESUSerAdminClient) on my BES 5 from Blackberry Resource Kit 5.0, I ran this command to generate BESUserAdminClient password.

BESUserAdminClient -set_client_auth "-username admin -password adminPwd -bas_auth" -set_p clientPwd

Where 'admin' is the BES login created at the time of BES installation with password 'adminPwd'. 'clientPwd' will be used in all commands of BESUserAdminClient.exet like

BESUserAdminClient -p clientPwd -status
