Default service pack level?

Please Login to Remove!

where do I find what service pack I'm running. I've gone to the add/remove programs, support information and it says: version: 4.1.2 (Bundle 47). does that mean I'm at SP2? Server version is: 4.1.25
Are these service packs cumulative like MS? or do I have to apply 3, 4 and 5 when it comes out? thanks for the help.
Nancy

Yes, you're at SP2. Yes, the service packs are cumulative. Just install SP5 when it's released.

Yep yep. SP2 is what yer usin'.
Future service packs are cumulative. So if you install SP5, everything that was in SP3, SP4 is already includedin SP5.

This BlackBerry - What's New with BlackBerry Enterprise Solution v4.1 Updated with Service Pack 5 doesn't say a whole lot.
Search this forum for 'spreadsheet'. It has the SP5 policies from the beta version. One of them is to allow for the disabling of the video camera.

Default BES 4.1 Service Pack 5

So it's the 4th March (Australian time), and there is no mention of Service Pack 5 anywhere.

Having said that, even if it was released, there are some features that need version 4.5 of the handheld O/S and has anyone seen that?

Yours patiently

Michael

SP5 was delayed until March 11, per the Life Cycle page. Most people are well aware of the OS 4.5 dependencies, as they have been mentioned more than a few times - both unofficially and officially, on here and other sites and RIM mailings and webcasts and news articles and press releases, etc.

I'm not even gonna bother looking at the date now. They keep changing it, so what's the use.

Sort of like the old Duke Nukem Forever that 3DRealms has been working on for like 10 years or something? They finally got tired and put the Release Date as "When It's Done"

... not only that, but I'm seriously debating on passing on SP5 all together. Multiple delays, months of delays, features removed from the planned RTM release that were in the beta, and a final last minute delay.

I don't know about you, but this service pack seems more like 15 band-aids where 2-3 stitches should have been put in.

Hopefully SP6 will be out shortly after and it won't suck.

Just my $.02

Definitely. I will be taking a very hard look at SP5 before I install it.
