You don't need any additional software for that.
Just enable Mass Storage Mode on the device and it will appear as a normal USB storage device on your computer.

Options > Memory > Mass Storage Mode Support = On
Options > Memory > Auto Enable Mass Storage Mode When Connected = Yes

Copy your ringtones directly into the ringtones folder on the device.

Ya, I need to get a media card. Where does it go in the phone? I have absolutely no instructions and am going blind. I can't find a place to put the media card man!

The microSDHC card goes on the side next to the volume buttons.... its a little cap that covers the card slot....

Remember that you can put up to 16 GB (maybe 32 im not sure) and cards are being sold cheap lately... (i got my 8 gb for 25 us $ a while ago)

Note that when you put too many songs (>1000 in my case) the phone will take A LOT of time to refresh the media library.... so its going to be around >10 minutes after you unplug from computer until you can play anything....

I use it as my main mp3 player and its awesome great audio quality, great functions, specially at doing playlist (& auto-playlist).... My only complaint is that the battery in this regard (using bluetooth headphones) is a little short (maybe 5 straight hours)... BUT nothing compares to wireless music at good quality

You also need to download and install Desktop Manager as it has the proper drivers for the BB.

You can find it here. I recommend either version 4.7 or 5.0.

With newer software the media refreshing time was cut from over 10 minutes to less than 2 (with over 1500 songs)...

Also make sure you read what people points out about the good and bad of an OS version... not always the newest is the best... So make sure whats working is what you need
