Mine took a whole day to get loose. I used double-sided tape to keep it from spinning upside down. A poor design, IMNSHO.

I had that problem before and I just contacted them to get the replacement. Customer Service is great! I've been used the new one for 4 months now, just like new, it just doesn't happen again.

Of course they told you know, businesses always say no one else is having an issue.

For one, I believe the clip swivel was placed too low on the holster. Even if you wear it horizontally, it's still 'top heavy.'
I haven't looked to see if they've made a change to the rubber case but I wish they would upgrade it to bevel the sides at the keyboard. I've gotten used to dealing with it but when I take the rubber case off I realize how much damn easier it would be if this were not an issue.

I have a holster for the 7130e, and my swivel doesn't 'click' either after a few weeks. It isn't 'loose', though.

I have had 2 skinned swivel clip holsters fail on me. Each replacement took almost two weeks even though I have been overnighting the bad holsters back to them.
I was just wondering if there was a way to speed up the swap. I have called the Seidio "Customer Support" phone number and received absolutely no support from them. They simply told me I had to go to the website to get the RMA number. Now that I am going on swivel clip #3, is there any way to get them to expedite the shipment of the replacement?
In the past I sent very polite IM's to SeidioSeidio, but they never respond. For a $30+ product, these things are made very poorly.
Any assistance is appreciated.

I had the same issue. I got a DMA but did not send it back because I cant be without a holster. I wish they would just send you one, and if you dont send the other one back, they charge you for it.
This is a known problems, so I would think that seido would want to do it.
Love the skin though.

I received my holster recently, & I'm finding the same issue. Throughout the day, little bumps & movements will make unit swivel to an angle I'm not expecting when I reach to extract the 8700. The rest of the holster is built pretty solid though.
I think I can live with it for now, but if it starts getting too loose, I'll probably superglue the clip in place.

I would like to thank SeidioSeidio for escalating this problem and helping me to get it resolved. Seidio has offered to replace the holster free of charge and will ship the replacement in just a few days. I hope this one holds up longer than ~30 days.
SeidioSeidio, I very much appreciate your help and presence here on the forum.
Take care,
Bill
