I see lots of replacement parts available including backs - which I assume people replace when the get too scratched up. Is it very easy to replace the back?

Pretty simple, you need a T3 or T6 Torx screw driver can't recall which. You probably purchase a new housing through ProMobility: http://www.promobility.net/html/blackberryparts.shtml

Not yet - the battery, of course. I'm thinking I'll replace the back soon if it gets too scratched up - is that nuts?
