I really like the sound of this. Even without seeing it's a tempting purchase.

I second (or third or fourth or something) one with the camera covered. I'd buy one. 100%.

Wait, camera covered? I wouldn't buy it if the camera was covered.

we are discussing 2 options. One with the camera covered and one without.

Some facilities require phones without cameras, or that they are completely covered up. This would be a great solution. I would however get the one with the camera cut out.

There are times that I have to go to our data center, and surrender my blackberry though because of the camera.

That's the first thing I thought of when I read about non-OEM covers that could "hide" the camera.

From a personal perspective, that would give you a way to "get away" with having a prohibited device on premises, and make it personally convenient.

From a corporate perspective, such a 3rd party cover could be bad news. They'd allow people to bring a camera phone on premises in "stealth mode", pop the back cover off to use the camera, and pop it back on again. I can easily imagine a corporate compliance officer getting truly riled about this...

I would love this idea for when I get my second line...using a Curve. I am definitely interested in one without the camera cutouts...
