I sure hope so because suddenly today my phone won't let me send or receive texts. My sister called me and told me that it actually rejected her text.

I tried to send a text and it showed that little clock that spins but it was frozen. It never would send and I tried texting several people. I am a bit disappointed by this.

mine did that i did a battery pull and kept it out for 1 minute and then put it bact and my texting came back.

Hmm, have I gone mad, or does Telus (up in Canada, eh?) now have a newer version released what I'm sure would work fine on Nextel as well...?

i just got the email about the new software, i already had the 4.6.1.112 and i am updating my phone right now... hopefully everything will be ok

ok i did the up date now i have a $400.00 BRICK i been on the phone with sprint for an hour cant fix it.

Me too!

DO NOT DO THIS UPDATE!!!!! Sprint says it wasn't supposed to have been released.

In the middle of the update the computer said "Fatal error" and now it says "reload Software 507"

Sprint gave me the # to Nextel Blackberry support 1-866-275-1072. Hopefully they can help me.

Ok got it fixed with the help of the tech. the problem was the Desktop Manager verson i had on my computer. it was the one that came with my 8350i. DO NOT USE IT. if you did you should go to https://www.blackberry.com/Downloads...B9D5EE16489088 and download the new DM software. it fixed my phone. if you did do it with the old software and got a white screen that says reload software 507. this will fix it it did for me. But all myapps were gone. But i looked for the loader backup file and found it in my documents folder from this morning before this all started and reloaded the file useing the DM restore option and that restored all my apps, ringtones, theames, ECT...
