youtube works because you are being redirected to the mobile site. if these other sites dont have a mobile version, they wont work because the BlackBerry doesnt support Flash. That being said, JC/NJ, lets fire this up in the mod break room

I'm going to try to take this in a constructive direction... despite EVERY part of my mind telling me otherwise.
I can't get any youtube videos to work on OS 4.5 (8300). Is this normal? And to answer the question before it is asked, no, I haven't tried youporn.

The difference is that when you go to youtube, you are taken to the mobile version once it senses you have a mobile web browser. The mobile version does not use Flash to send videos, it uses RTSP and 3gp for the videos. WiFi enabled BlackBerries, or newer models on an EVDO network can make use of RTSP for video streaming. Youporn does not have a mobile service, and must use Flash to display its content. Flash is not supported on the BlackBerry in any fashion yet.

So the only web video you will get are those that stream using rtsp.

I went to m.youtube.com, and tried to watch a video. The media player pops up and says loading then sits for a while, then says error loading. Any ideas? Thanks all.

I'm on Telus network. I tried this link, but I’m getting an error msg when media player opens. “The media being played is of an unsupported format". I'm running OS 4.3.0.124. Or do I have to wait on OS 4.5?

Some of the videos on m.youtube.com will not work because they have not been encoded 3gp. And for those of you who can't stream the videos, it is only available on the BlackBerries with WiFI enabled, or Verizon EVDO. If you are using EDGE it will not work with my experience.
