Default Blackberry 8300 curve fell in water... help!

Please Login to Remove!

Screen went black after first day (was working after it fell and dried out). Is there anything i can do?

you should have taken the batter out right away and give it about a week to dry. if your screen went black, then possibly it was damaged and or other parts.

best thing you can do now is pull the battery for a few days, and let it dry.

Pull the battery and I don't care how badly you want to try the phone DON'T!

where is the water mark on the phone? just bought a curve off of ebay and cannot find the water mark. the phone is working fine just wanted to make sure.

I hope your curve will work, but unfortunately water will cripple camera's function.. I suggest you look for used curve and apart parts out of used curve into your curve housing. that is save $$$ ;o)

Look at the small square white sticker to the left of the SD chip slot.

With the battery cover off, look at where the SIM card is. You'll see a tiny white square on the side. It turns red went it gets wet.

I've gotten my BB wet, and it appeared to just short the battery. When I put in a different battery, it powered right up.

my batter has the pink XXX's. the screen comes on but just barely. you have to hold it at an angle and look closey and u could sort of make out the screen options. Is there anything i can do to save it? thanks for the replies so far.

uh, the 2nd post was the best advice... and you still have it powered on looking at the screen?

its not my phone it was powered on little after it got wet. i just turned it on today (day later) to see what is happening. screen works but very very faded. i got it out now. is there anyway i can still save it?
