Anyone seen a BB leather case - 7520, that has an over the shoulder strap. A gift for my wife - apparently women don't always have belts on - who knew? Ideal is a leather "spaghetti" strap with a credit/bus card pocket or 2. -Thanks.... - Steve

Dawg,

FWIW, I've always used the Nutshell cases for my Treo and they are superb.

Very tough leather and they wear-in beautifully.....

One of the first things I checked after I picked up my new 7250 yesterday.

Wirelessly posted (your electric?: BlackBerry7520/4.0.2 Profile/MIDP-2.0 Configuration/CLDC-1.1 UP.Browser/5.0.3.3 UP.Link/5.1.2.12)

I have been using the OEM leather holster for 3 months now and love it. Mainly wear it horizontely and put it vertical when I re-holster the berry. Works great with egrips (just use the speaker egrip).

Finch,

I too have an OEM leather holster, but can't figure out if it's the new or updated logo - just shows "BlackBerry" sort of italized up front. The holster images I see for sale on the web are too tiny for my poor eyesight. Anyways my question - is there another way to distinguish the new and old other than the logo. What advantage/enhancement is the new have and where exacly is the magnet inside that does a power down of the BB when holstered. Does the "old" also have this feature?

Thanks in advance for the info.

Aloha

I love my OEM leather case for my 7230.

It slips in/out really easy. The magnet is really handy too!

I ended up just buying one from a Bell Mobility dealer - sure it was $40 but it would have cost just as much buying it online (after shipping). Nice case, a bit bulky if you want to carry it in your pocket but the belt clip is A+ quality and I doubt I'd have to worry about it coming off.

Tip for everyone w/ the leather case. Keep your old plastic one safe. We've had a few people get their phones caught in something and ripped the clip off.

Just (with a screwdriver) lift the spring piece out of the groove and punch the metal spring out of the plastic one and slide the clip off and you can put it on the leather case.

That will save you from buying a new clip.

Im looking for a case also, I like the nut shell, but not for the nutty price. Which OEM case are you talking about? I went to the website that fich was talking abot bizshopr.com and there is about 10 different ones. Is it the one with the gold stamp on front for @21.00????????????????

I presume this is the case with Blackberry on a small pewter bar. I found it tight for the first week or so but after you break it in, its easier to remove the Blackberry and I have the 7250.
