Default Rogers BB plan

Please Login to Remove!

Hi!

I finally got my self a bb on ebay an unlocked 7290 in a perfect shape!

I was looking around and I'm scared of the Rogers BB plan. I read so many post of people with Rogers who receives hundreds of dollars bills for their BB.

So here's my question if I do some IM, 3 or less emails a day with gmail and google calendar did the plan at 25 $ for 0,5 MB a month is going the cost me a lot more or this plan will be fine for me?

I desperetly need some advice here because I don't wanna regret my purchase!

If your using I'm unlimited is your only option, IM eats data. Get the unlimited and join the rest of the Robbers customers being ripped off for 25MB of data.

Still hard to swallow when you get that and then some for $60 on Bell. I think anything above 250MB on month on Bell is considered abuse on their unlimited. I've heard of the 200MB plan from Robbers, nothing more than a price grab and a way for Robbers to blow off the 25MB cap.

you should be fine with the $25 plan. You get 3 months unlimited data with rogers right now. So just see how much you use each month, and then on the 4th month pic a plan that best suites you.

Many people I know who have the $25 data plan have all gone over and they only use their BlackBerry for pinning others in the office and they use an IM client. Most have taken the $40 BlackBerry data package.

Since your first few months of data are unlimited as per the promo on right now monitor your data use on your bills and make your choice accordingly. Check out Rogers.com to view data rates as well as voice and data rates.

Enjoy your new BlackBerry.
