Default Lose UMA after OS Update

Please Login to Remove!

To All,
I do not think there is an answer but I have T-Mobile Germany 8900 on T-Mobile USA and use UMA since cell coverage very poor inside my house. Whenever I do OS update always lose UMA from profile in wireless. Few kind souls have helped to generate code to enter in help screen to access Engineering Menu to get UMA back. Is there a way to prevent lose of the UMA when doing OS update? Even though people do not mind helping if I can help myself and not bother them would be my first choice.
Thank you and I hope this is not silly question,
Doc
