Default First things to do to my new 8900

Please Login to Remove!

Hello all.

I'm new to Blackberry and just got the 8900 yesterday. What are the the first things I need to do with it to improve performance, etc?

Thanks,
Tom

Get to know the device and what it can and cannot do before you try to fix it. You might find that it works great out of the box.

Update the OS beyond what it ships with. You'll notice better battery life.

Default Thanks

All good advice. But what's this about updating the OS? I haven't had it long enough to really judge performance.

Use it for the weekend.
If things don't work, ask about them.
