ok; im confused now. how do you get uma? my phone stays on uma when im using a tmobile router or my actiontec router. i have been tryimg to get uma on my moms 2 wire and i got it. but soon as i try to make a call or recieve a call uma drops the call and goes to edge. wifi works fine for browsing though. i thought you get uma through the hotspot at home.

UMA works on any plan. My point was that the H@H plan is not required to get UMA. H@H is a plan you can use with UMA to get unlimited minutes over UMA. If you don't have the H@H plan you can still make calls over UMA but your minutes are deducted from your minute plan.
