I do believe most people will still just post; it doesn't mater if they look like an ass online... You and most likely no one else here will ever met him/her in real life, and even if you did; how would you know it's them?

Apperance doesn't mean anything on the internet; and until the only way to post here is by a video recording, people will continue to just post.

FYI: Part of posting means posting in the correct location... "Ringtones, Themes and Wallpaper Discussion" surely wasn't the right spot for your message. "General BlackBerry Discussion" or "Off Topic Lounge" would have been much better.

I agree with your post however its a pointless post its been said so many times its not funny. People are going to post their question no matter what. People are going to post in the wrong thread just as you did. People are people and you cant change that. Just live with it like the rest of us have too. And if ya cant just flame em.

In the defense of the "people".. I use the search all the time to find crazy stuff that I don't know as I am sure all of us do {except for maybe Mark since I am beginning to find out, just easier to look at his posts for the answer}. The issue is that if you are searching something "common" e.g. ringtones, wallpapers, email questions, you get about 500 threads with many posts. Somewhere in that thread of 50 posts (3-4 pages worth) is your answer, buried neck deep in minutia...

Anyway, for what it's worth, I think the search is beign used by about 1/2 the folks that ask the " forgive me I'm a newb" questions. This indicates that people are not entirely devoid of brain matter but they lack the patience to sit and read through the posts and try to learn as they go. Nothing will fix impatience with BB users. Just think, if we were not impatient, why have email coming to my hip???

Want to look like an ass you ask? Post that you have ringtones to share, then in a childlike huff - pull it off line with cusswords replacing the page... like you did in December (because you were not receiving the feedback/strokes that you were looking for)...
